Training sessions on offer are as follows:

Competent PPE Inspector Course

This four-hour course will run from 12:30-4:30 p.m. EDT on Tues., April 23.

TEAM-1 Academy’s Fall Protection Equipment Inspector Course is designed to introduce standardized practices for fall protection equipment inspection by a variety of hands-on exercises.

Falling from Heights continues to be one of the biggest killers in industrial workplaces. All of these accidents are preventable. Workers need to know and use proper fall protection equipment. An important aspect of this is the maintenance and inspections needed for personal fall protection equipment to ensure that workers who use this equipment are well protected from falling. Workers who conduct the formal inspections on fall protection equipment should, and must, know the proper and effective processes of inspecting and documenting fall protection equipment. It is extremely important that inspectors be effectively trained before conducting any inspection of equipment.

Written and practical tests are administered to ensure the principles presented in this course are understood.

Fibre Optic Termination and Repair

This two-hour course will run from 12:30-2:30 p.m. EDT on Tues., April 23.

NWS Wireless will again offer training covering fiber termination and repair kits after hosting a successful training session on this topic at STAC 2018. All of the students in this course are introduced to the kits and receive an overview of each of the tools inside and their uses. It’s crucial to understand that fiber optics is an integral part of wireless technology and NWS provides the hands-on training that gives your teams a competitive edge.
